Final Regards...

I am sad to say R.I.P.T. is over. :( I am really going to miss going to class Monday, Wednesday and Friday. But rest assured i will still make it to some of the boot camps, and other kickboxing/strength classes. I am currently planning on taking R.I.P.T again in the fall! I'm really excited, because this is probably the best thing fitness related to happen in a while! I can't wait to see everyone at one class or another! (:

The Field Test

So what good is all this fitness if you cannot put it to real world use?

Monday we skipped class and spent part of the early Spring Break week using the new RIPT'd bodies skiing....first time for some, first time in a long time for others.

Results were great. The RIPT training had the lower body ready to go long, hard and all day trying runs that would be off limit to tired legs (oh, and I learned that strong body makes you braver...not smarter...but braver).

A good time was had by all, and most of the bumps and bruises will heal quickly. With RIPT in it's last week I suspect more field tests are ahead soon...on the road bike and the golf course. Good results there will be self validating, all the work (the pain) has a gain!!!

Inches, Pounds and Mass

Another measurement day this week...really funny to see how few people now show up, think they know if you don't do class and eat right prayer alone won't get you results??? Anyhow, only two weeks since the last (so what really can be accomplished).

We all lost inches, one lost pounds, one lost BMI - - - all thought maybe we went the other way, so another testiment to the hard and even on your worst strecthes (birthday eating, x2!!!) you can make progress.

About 5 sessions to go and on to 'life after'....and final results.

While we may lose some passion with better weather and fatigue, the teaching team sure has not....they remain FIRED UP every time, amazing.

Yesterday I did both the 12 and 5:30 PM. As usually, totally different work outs with one thing in common. I've come to realize how much the hard work of others in the class inspires me. When you are grinding it out and look around you cannot help but push on when you see how hard, and in their own way, everyone is working.

To my classmates - - - you inspire me (exception noted, as usual, might by my husband...he needs to kick it up a notch and quit the giggling during cool down!!!).

2.5 weeks to go...we will make it.

See you on the Floor - Jodi

Tonight I thought was a near perfect class, it had an equal mix of everything, like cardio and arms and legs. All of the different exercises were timed well. I personally enjoy Wednesdays the most. I have no idea why, it's just a class that i enjoy even more than other nights. I'm really hoping that my slight knee pain is alleviated and gone by Friday!
